VOLUNTEER RESOURCES

It is MHB Youth Football Program’s mission to raise funds that aid in the development and growth of the Mount Horeb-Barneveld Youth Football Teams. Our family’s volunteer credits are also essential to the success of our program.

MHB Youth Football will again require parents/guardians to sign a Volunteer & Fundraising Commitment Agreement. This is to ensure the that families complete the required volunteer credits. We ask that ALL MHB Youth Football families volunteer, completing 2 CREDITS for their First/Only Child in the program and 1 ADDITIONAL CREDIT for each additional child in the program, with a max of 4 CREDITS per family. Each family may choose to do a Buy-Out Option if they prefer not to volunteer.

Below are areas where families can receive the necessary volunteer credits required. Additional information for each of these will be provided to you by your Team Representative(s).

= Frolic – 2 Credits

= Chains – 1 Credit

= Down Markers - 1 Credit

= Scoreboard/Game Clock - 1 Credit

= 8th Grade final game announcer – 1 Credit

= Film game - 1/2 Credit (each game)

= 50/50 Raffle at Varsity Games - 1 Credit

= Volunteering at various events held by the Gridiron Club will also count toward volunteer hours. The Norsk 3rd of July Bash, TheRed/White Scrimmage and BBQ bash, etc. Shifts vary from 1 - 2 credits. The Gridiron Club will sent out emails for volunteer signups before these events.

= Volunteering to Coach, be a Team Representative or if you are a member of the youth committee board, will wave the volunteer requirements.



Volunteers need to record the event (they volunteer for) with their Individual Team Representative(s) to be acceptable and accounted for.
Unless otherwise noted volunteers must be 18 or older.
 
Other fundraising events may take place per grade which is not included in the Fundraising Commitment Agreement.


Buy-Out Option
A family may choose to buy out of their fundraising agreement. Single Player Buy Out is $250 and the Multiple Player Buy Out is $350.
