For many years our organization has been raising and saving funds to help MHB Youth Football secure their own field and practice area. The current space we use for youth football has been generously loaned to us. MHB Gridiron Club also has a long term goal to help with renovations of the high school football field, including turf and the press box and many other items.

     On behalf of the Mount Horeb / Barneveld (“MHB”) Gridiron Club, Inc., we would like you to become a part of the Vikings Family by joining the MHB Gridiron Club as a corporate sponsor.

 

     We are asking our corporate community to help support the football program by either making a Tax-Deductible Charitable Contribution or by becoming a MHB Gridiron Club Corporate Sponsor. The Corporate Sponsorship opportunities are accompanied to this letter. As a Corporate Sponsor, your contributions will benefit Vikings Football by assisting with the purchase of items that the school district is no longer funding. Please note that the MHB Gridiron Club is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The mission of the MHB Gridiron Club is to assist in the development of young football players throughout the entire MHB football program, from youth through high school. By sponsoring the Vikings football team, you will help our young athletes to have a positive and rewarding experience while focusing on teamwork and life lessons, based on the teachings of football.

 

     The lessons these young athletes learn will enable them to be more successful in the classroom, on the field and in their future careers.      In 2024 we were able to purchase: ball dryer, heaters for the sideline, Hudl AD Package, Varsity Sideline box, shields and tackle dummy, field goal post pads, meals for overnight camp, game day team breakfast, year end banquet meal, weight room equipment, Sports Advantage training and Story of the Season weekly programs.

     We were also able to purchase the following for the youth program: Guardian caps, tackle pads, tackle wheels, field goal post pads, landing mats, new storage shed at the practice field, sideline benches, and repainting of the field goal posts.
